We are pleased to announce the official opening of our new agency, nestled in the heart of the historic district of Versailles, just a short walk from the Château.

Located at 10 rue de Fontenay, 78000 Versailles, France, this location allows us to be as close as possible to our clients and projects in Île‑de‑France. It is the ideal starting point for developing restoration and rehabilitation projects, with or without contemporary interventions, bringing the know‑how that defines the Atelier: exacting standards, expertise and attention to detail.

Installed in an 18th‑century building, the new architecture office has been shaped in our image. The project consisted of transforming former service rooms — kitchen, laundry room and small accommodation — into a modern and welcoming workspace, while highlighting its heritage character.

The technical and environmental challenges were multiple and required a bespoke approach:

Integrating underfloor heating beneath traditionally manufactured terracotta tiles to combine modern comfort with period aesthetics.

Insulating with bio‑based materials, notably a lime‑and‑cork render, perfectly compatible with historic substrates and respectful of the fabric.

Strengthening the building’s structure, which was severely degraded, to ensure its longevity.

Integrating and concealing the technical networks necessary for the operation of a contemporary office, while enhancing the original 18th‑century proportions and circulation.

Beyond the technical aspects, this is a coherent approach in which we put into practice our philosophy of “Living our heritage.”
