Renovation of a stairwell

At the Atelier, we give the same care to the stairwell of a multi‑unit building as we do to the main staircase of a private château.

This project included the complete refurbishment of the 1930s building’s entrance hall, stairwells, landings and porch.

We harmonized all the Bakelite doorbells, using an original model that still exists in the building as inspiration. The convoluted, exposed technical systems were concealed. The wood‑effect finish on the landing doors was restored.

Meticulous site supervision ensured carefully executed, historically appropriate finishes — and a transformed daily life for the co‑owners.
